How to convert JPG to PDF privately

  1. Drop your JPG files on the box above, or click it to choose them. PNGs can go in too.
  2. Put them in order with the ↑ and ↓ arrows. Each image becomes one page.
  3. Pick a page size and click Create PDF, then download it.

Why “no upload” matters for photos

The pictures people turn into PDFs are often the private ones: a driver’s licence or passport, a signed form, a bank letter, a medical bill, a child’s school record. Most online converters work by uploading your images to their server and sending a PDF back. They usually delete the files later, but the photos have still left your device.

FilesStay is a static web page. The converter is downloaded with the page and runs in your browser, so your images are read from your device and the PDF is saved straight back to it. There is no FilesStay server that receives files.

How you can check

Quality and size

Most JPGs are placed into the PDF as they are, so they look the same as the originals. Photos that a phone saved “sideways” are turned upright first. The PDF ends up about as big as your images added together; to shrink it, use Compress PDF, which also runs in your browser.
