Your files

Compress, merge, split, and JPG/PNG to PDF all run in your browser with client-side libraries. The PDF or images you choose are not uploaded to FilesStay. We do not have a file-processing server. We do not store your documents. When you close the tab, the data in memory is gone.

That is the point of the product. If this ever changes for a future tool, that tool will say so before you pick a file.

This website

The site itself is static files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts). Your browser downloads those assets from whatever host serves filesstay.com (today, Cloudflare Pages). The host will see ordinary web request data: IP address, pages requested, user agent, and similar server logs. Those logs are a hosting default, not a FilesStay file archive.

Cookies and accounts

The four tools do not need an account and do not set a cookie to work. There is no login.

Analytics

We do not ship an analytics script in this version. Later we may add a privacy-respecting traffic counter (for example page views, not session replay) so we know whether the site is loading. We will not use that to collect your PDFs. If we add analytics, this page will be updated.

What we do not collect from the tools

• File contents
• File names (they never leave your browser for processing)
• A copy of the download
